ACS CIC 4.0 compared to White Paint

CIC Compared to White Paint

Comparison on a roof of normal white paint and ceramic insulation coating...

Insulation coating eliminates solar heat loading effect on outside surfaces and further reduces ambient heat on air conditioned spaces. Even normal white paint absorbs heat. In this case 5C more than CIC. Dark paint is even warmer by 8C more than insulating paint. This is an infrared picture is the roof of an air conditioned fruit storage space that’s 42F/5.5C inside. You can see that the area that is coated with CIC is 10.5F lower.  The insulation coating is also reducing the exterior surface temperature 8F/4.4C below the ambient outside temperature.
